Ingredients
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick, serving 2)
- 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Generously season your steaks with salt and pepper. Rub a tablespoon of Cajun seasoning on each side.
2. Cook the Steaks
In a skillet over high heat, melt a tablespoon of butter. Sear your steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness (adjust time based on thickness and desired doneness). Once cooked, remove from the pan and let them rest.
3. Cook the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds, then toss in the shrimp. Sprinkle with the remaining Cajun seasoning and cook until pink and opaque, around 3-4 minutes.
4. Make the Sauce
Lower the heat, then pour in the heavy cream and stir it all together. Add the grated Parmesan and let it simmer until slightly thickened, around 3 minutes.
5. Combine and Serve
Slice the steaks and plate them with the shrimp sauce poured over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!
