- 4–5 medium potatoes, peeled and boiled
- 1 package smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 cans (or 2 cups) green beans, drained and cooked
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
- 1/4 cup real bacon bits
- 1 stick butter, cut into pieces
- Garlic and herb seasoning, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare Potatoes: Boil the potatoes until tender, then cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- Cook Sausage and Green Beans: Boil the smoked sausage slices for a few minutes, drain, and do the same for the green beans.
- Assemble Casserole: In a large baking dish, mix the potatoes, sausage, and green beans. Season with garlic and herb seasoning. Sprinkle bacon bits evenly over the top.
- Add Butter and Cheese: Place butter pieces evenly on the mixture. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
- Bake: Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Serve warm and enjoy!
