- 1 cup pickle juice
- 2 cups ice
- 1 packet fruit punch Kool-Aid
- 2–3 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
- Pickle slices (for garnish)
- Tajín or additional sugar (for garnish)
Instructions
- Measure out 1 cup of pickle juice. Fill 2 cups with ice. Have your packet of fruit punch Kool-Aid ready. Optionally, slice a few pickles for garnish and set them aside.
- In a blender, combine the pickle juice and ice. Add the packet of fruit punch Kool-Aid to the blender. Blend until smooth and slushy.
- Taste the slushy mixture. If desired, add 2-3 tablespoons of sugar, adjusting to taste. Blend again to mix in the sugar thoroughly.
- Pour the slushy mixture into cups. Top with pickle slices for garnish.
- Sprinkle Tajín or additional sugar on top of the pickle slices, if desired, for an extra burst of flavor.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your unique and refreshing Pickle Slushy!
Notes
- For a spicier version, use spicy pickle juice or add a dash of hot sauce.
- You can also add frozen fruit like berries or pineapple chunks for added texture and flavor.
- The slushy is best enjoyed fresh, but you can freeze the mixture in ice cube trays for later use.
